1) What were the five stories your group chose to broadcast?
Greenford news story: Greenford High school has moved sports day as of the national strikes.
National news story:Facebook faces UK probe over emotion study.
London news story:Anti-terror police arrest teenager in Cardiff.
Sports news story: Belgium has a victory 2-1 over united states. 
Funny news story: Primark baby: Woman gives birth in Birmingham street.

2) For each story above, explain WHY you chose that particular story and not something else. Why would it interest a Greenford audience? 
Greenford news story: We chose this story because it highly concerns the target market as it is about the school and also it is positive news as students receive a holiday. 
National news story: We chose this story because  the target audience are teenagers and the top demographic who visits Facebook is teenagers so there is good coloration between the two.
London news story: We chose this story because it concerns the people of London. Although the story cant be specifically targeted towards  teenager,teenagers would want to know about events that are  happening around us.
Sports news story: We chose this story because  it is receiving a lot attentions from the world as it is the world cup.This story is more targeted towards football fans than any other group.
Funny news story: We chose this story because  it is interesting and adds positivisty in the news.

Textual analysis




Genre:The genre for this media text is YouTube Video.Even-though, that this is a crack call,the sub-genre would be comedy and pranks.

Audience:This video is targeted towards young teens,young adults and adults. It is targeted towards young teens(children of 11,12,13) ,as they have a lot of free time.The majority of parents rely on tablets,mobile phones,computers and video game consoles to keep their child entertained or too "babysit their child".So therefore young people are exposed to YouTube alot ,and having this video on the homepage of YouTube a lot, there is a high possibility that young teens(from the ages of 11,12,13) may see it.This is also a comedy video so viewers that enjoy comedy are also targeted.

Platform: This is a YouTube video and it can only be found on YouTube with access to internet.Any device which is compatible with browsing the web and video streaming can access this video as long as it has internet access.For example smart phones,tablets,computers and smart TVs can access this video.

  
Genre:The genre for this media text is YouTube Video and a music video for a hit Rap Grime song.

Audience: This  video is targeted towards British teens to people of mid 20s. Mostly a male demographic as this Genre of Music(Grime) is closely related to American Gangster rap music. It is mostly targeted to African and and of people of Caribbean heritage.As the channel that it is on is SBTV and that it developed by teens of mostly African and Caribbean heritage, in the early 2000s, primarily as a development of UK garage, drum and bass, hip hop and dancehall.

Audience: This movie is targeted towards a male demographic of 20 to older 40s  of working class and educated.This movie requires some what intelligence to work out certain plots or to have full experience of it.
